Volker P. Kranich was born in Miltenberg (Bavaria / Germany) in 1957. Even in his earliest youth, he began to draw and paint, inspired by the nature of his home country.
Likewise other artists, his main effort quite soon tended towards finding out ways of capturing the light and of restoring it in his works of art. Stays all over the world and an inspiring time with Tarek Marestani in Celle for further education characterised his development.
Successful exhibitions in Munich, Wiesbaden and Brussels, essentially contributed to establish his name in the world.
Over time, he extended his spectrum with metal and steel construction, mainly creating his own design. For more than 20 years now, he has been designing and creating large sized decorative glass domes all over Europe. Volker P. Kranich is a most versatile artist who continuously strikes out on new paths and experiments with new materials. This made him gain worldwide reputation.
